Our Story

Indijio was created from a simple belief: the things we bring into our lives should be made with care, designed to last, and leave something positive behind.

In a world of fast production and disposable consumption, we wanted to create an alternative, one rooted in natural materials, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a deeper connection to the people and places behind the products we use every day.

Our collections begin with artisan-crafted textiles made in Türkiye using natural cotton, linen, and cotton-linen blends. Produced in small batches and certified according to OEKO-TEX® standards, these pieces are designed to be versatile, long-lasting, and lived in for years rather than seasons.

We believe sustainability is an important starting point, but not the destination.

Over the years, we have spent time with regenerative farms, eco-communities, and land-based projects around the world. Through these experiences, we became increasingly inspired by systems that not only reduce harm but also actively restore what has been lost, rebuilding soil, supporting biodiversity, strengthening communities, and creating a healthier future for the next generation.

That perspective became the foundation of Indijio.

Alongside our textile collections, we carefully source products from regenerative farms and communities whose values align with our own. Every product we offer reflects our commitment to quality, transparency, craftsmanship, and responsible stewardship.

For me, this work is also deeply personal.

I grew up in Türkiye surrounded by handmade textiles. My mother was a seamstress who spent her days creating quilts, embroidered pieces, towels, sweaters, and clothing by hand. I learned early that the things we use every day can carry meaning, skill, and care within them.

Those lessons stayed with me.

Working with Turkish textiles today feels less like starting something new and more like continuing a tradition I have always known and loved.

And behind everything we offer is a deeper commitment. We dedicate 20% of our profits to regenerative land projects and communities working to restore ecosystems and create lasting positive impact.

Indijio is ultimately about choosing better, not only for ourselves, but for the world we leave behind.
